Landsdale - Lans Lube - Pipe Joint Lubricant, 1 Quart - W297
Lansdale’s Lans Lube is a vegetable based lubricant that can be used on all applicable gasketed fittings including grooved fittings for fire protection systems, plumbing systems and and all couplings utilizing any grade of EPDM gasket. Lans Lube not only helps in the assembly of the grooved joint but also the operation of the system by allowing the gasket to better “seat” when installed. The lubricant is non-staining and does not support bacterial growth, it can be applied from -10 deg F to 150 deg F.
APPLICATION
Lans Lube should be evenly and sparingly applied (especially when used with pre-lubed gaskets). It is best applied by hand after all dirt, burrs, and any other foreign matter is removed from the surfaces. After the Lans Lube is applied the coupling should be assembled following the manufacturers directions.
